Lindsey Huling and John Zaranec complete their terms and retire from the Adoption Network Cleveland Board of Directors this month, but both will remain actively involved with the organization. Lindsey will continue to facilitate the Birth Mother Support Group, while John will contribute his expertise to the Finance Committee. Both will be honored for their service at the 2024 Annual Meeting.

Lindsey Huling

Lindsey Huling, who has served on our Outreach and Development Committee, Executive Committee, and as Secretary, grew up in Auburn Twp., OH and graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2011. After spending 10 years in the event planning industry, she currently works for E&H Hardware as the Operations Administrative Assistant. Lindsey's connection to adoption is that she is a birth mother to a 13-year-old son whom she sees him regularly. She has been involved with Adoption Network Cleveland throughout the years and currently co-facilitates the monthly Birth Mother Support Group. Lindsey currently lives in Wooster, OH with her English bulldog Benny.

John Zaranec

John Zaranec, who has served on our Finance Committee, Executive Committee, and as Treasurer brings 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, auditing and finance shared services to his role of Chief Accounting Officer for Materion Corporation. In this role, John is responsible for leading the accounting, financial reporting, shared services and investor relations functions; implementing sound internal controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, developing and communicating compelling investor messages, building relationships with equity analysts and investors, and helping to develop financial plans and transformation improvements that support the company’s strategy. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Accountancy degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
