Adoption Network Cleveland’s General Discussion Meetings provide an opportunity for all those who are impacted by adoption to share their perspectives and learn from each other.

While most of our General Discussion Meetings have an open discussion format, the May 10 meeting will have a special topic, "Ethical Issues and Landmines." Many of us face ethical dilemmas along our journeys, and there is no written rulebook. In fact, things that might be seen as “wrong” in many contexts haven’t been seen as wrong historically in adoption. Come and talk about your experiences and questions with the goal of developing a framework to have a positive influence.

This meeting will be a virtual meeting facilitated by Marni and Mindy. Our Virtual General Discussion Meetings meet via the Zoom platform (which can be accessed through a home computer/laptop, tablet, or mobile phone) and will require an internet connection or phone data connection.

Space is limited to maintain the ability of those registered to participate in the discussion. Our topic meetings are very popular and frequently have a waiting list. Registration is required.
