About Michelle Martin, MD.S.
Michelle Martin, ED.S., is the Founder and Director of INSIGHT Learning & Wellness Center. A licensed school psychologist of 30 years, she specializes in the evaluation and treatment of learning, developmental, emotional, and attention disorders. Stressing natural treatments and a “there is more than medication” approach INSIGHT helps individuals and families find ways to manage their own health and wellness.

She has designed and currently directs a unique therapeutic martial arts program called Fusion Movement, a blend of Tae Kwon Do, yoga, and other balancing & calming movement with social skills for children/teens & adults. It is an affordable and efficient means for families to receive several therapeutic modalities. She also provides consulting services and seminars to schools and agencies. Michelle has studied mindfulness and Emotional Freedom Technique extensively and has received training in sharing mindfulness with children with Dr. Amy Saltzman's "Still Quiet Place" training. Lastly, CAMP INSIGHT, a summer day camp for ages 6 to 12 promotes wellness and prevention for our greatest natural resource, our children. In 2000 Michelle founded the INSIGHT Learning & Wellness Center, a multi-disciplinary group of holistic professionals who work together as a team blending research-proven traditional and holistic treatments. The Insight team provides psychological, educational, and gifted evaluations and school advocacy, as well as individual and family therapy.
