The program is for youth who are 10+ years old and have been adopted, or are in a kinship family which is the care of children by relatives. Mentors are caring, supportive adults who build relationships with youth and enhance the ongoing stability of family, by:
- providing support and understanding in a shared life experience
- helping development healthy social relationships
- encouraging additional opportunities for fun, adventure, and learning
