Presentation Title: Let's Talk About Reunion          

Bio: Linda became a birth mother in 1980. Reunited in 2018, drowning in grief and shame, and needing to understand her daughter (Louise Okuri), Linda sought out spaces and info that would educate her on adoptee trauma and the experiences, nuances and complexities of reunion. Together with her daughter, they saw the patterns that derail a reunion and they decided to create a support group for birth families, adoptees, and their supports, which is a place for those folks to come together for education, community, and support.
