The compact, picturesque, easy to walk, suburban campus of Baldwin Wallace University is a welcoming environment for conference groups. But it’s Baldwin Wallace’s accessible location that plays a vital role in attracting conference groups of all types.
Situated in the charming college town of Berea, Ohio, with a population of nearly 18,000, the Baldwin Wallace campus is a short stroll to the downtown commercial area, with easy access to restaurants, cafés and gift shops.
For local and regional folks, highway access via I-71 and the Ohio Turnpike is just minutes away. For national and international attendees, the 10-minute proximity to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport creates accessibility, while downtown Cleveland is just a 20-minute drive from campus.
The Sandstone Conference Center is located in the lower level of Strosacker Hall and consists of several meeting rooms, all furnished with multimedia equipment and internet access. Most of the conference will be held in the Sandstone Conference Center. One or two select events will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Shuttle access between the conference and hotel is available for guests without alternative transportation on a space-available basis.
Hotel
Adoption Network Cleveland has arranged for a block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport for $99/night for conference attendees. The rate applies to both single rooms (one king bed) and double rooms (two queen beds).
The Crowne Plaza is one mile from the conference site on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University, and four miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

Professional Continuing Education and Training Hours
Much of our content, including three hours of ethics content, should qualify for professional continuing education credits. We have marked the content that is most likely to qualify. A Certificate of Attendance will be available for professionals, parents/caregivers in need of training hours, and any other attendee by request.
Register Early
Space is limited so please register early. The early bird discount is available until March 1st. After March 1st the registration rates increase. Adoption Network Cleveland members enjoy a conference discount. Members will receive a discount code. Members who join or renew at conference registration will also receive the discount code.
Travel/Parking
Parking is free both at the hotel and the Sandstone Conference Center at Baldwin Wallace University. All participants will be given a campus parking pass.
For participants who are arriving by air travel, The Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport Hotel is conveniently located four miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport and one mile from the Sandstone Conference Center on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University. Complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle available upon request; shuttle to the conference center available for guests without alternative transportation on a space-available basis.
Meals
Breakfast will be provided Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings for all participants. Lunch is provided both Friday and Saturday. The reception Thursday evening will provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Coffee and infused water will be available in the conference area throughout the day. Dinner is on your own. The cafeteria on the first floor, directly above the conference space, is open until 8 PM, and there are many restaurants in the area. Options are available on Friday and Saturday for attendees to eat their dinner in hosted support groups.
